- We offer Behavioral Health Services specifically designed to treat seniors experiencing mental health problems. Our Senior Behavioral Health Center was created for patients with acute and chronic medical and mental illnesses, especially those who pose a significant risk of harm to themselves or others. The inpatient unit takes a multidisciplinary approach to treating depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, anxiety/panic disorders, phobias, complicated dementia and dual diagnosis that keep the elderly from optimally functioning.
- Patients with co-existing mental and medical illness are accepted as long as the behavioral disorder is the primary reason for admission.
- The Senior Behavioral Health Center offers free admission assessments and comprehensive treatment services 7-days per week in a group, individual and family format.
- Services include psychiatric/physician services, nursing care, social services, occupational therapy, expressive therapy, physical therapy, nutritional counseling and medication education groups.
